Hakubai Event*

Come celebrate Buddha’s birthday. All are welcome (especially children).

We’ll begin at 9:00 am with two periods of sitting and walking meditation. At 10:00 we’ll hear stories of the Buddha’s birth, and answer questions about the life of Buddha and his teachings. At 11:00 we’ll wash baby Buddha with pure water and then clothe him in fresh flowers.

At 11:30 there will be a social lunch and an opportunity to share the happiness of the day.
