Sesshin is an intensive practice period patterned after Japanese monastic practice. The schedule includes periods of sitting and walking meditation, a work period, and evening dharma talks. Meals are in the oryoki style, and participants take turns preparing food, serving meals, and cleaning up. A detailed schedule will be provided in late October.
A suggested donation of $20 per day, or $50, covers food and facility costs, but we do not want cost to limit participation. Please write to info@hakubai.org to save a spot or with any questions. Spaces are limited.
